Artist's Comments

A tiny tweak on the default Win 7 theme. I basically removed some of the blue toolbars which I extremely dislike. I also tweaked the buttons a bit.

The zip comes with the x7.theme file and the x7 folder (which contains the msstyle). Drop these both into your resources directory. The .theme file is needed because Win 7's msstyle switcher needs to have a theme file present (as far as I know)

doesn't work; just changes the color in win classic

Did you try executing the .msstyle or the .theme?

I don't fully understand how Win 7 works, but I know that executing the .msstyle causes some weird issues.

The process I used for installing/starting the theme was to put the .theme in the /Resources/Themes folder, then also putting the folder containing the .msstyle in the /Resources/Themes folder. Once that was done, I switched the theme by double clicking the .theme file (double clicking the .msstyle made it drop into classic mode). I then went to the theme manager and saved my current theme so I could easily switch back and forth.

Also, I'm assuming you have the appropriate patched .dll's (3 of theme).

What method are you using to install it? Are you guys on 32bit or 64bit?
:iconneilmccauley:
i tried on 32bit, extracted into c\windows\resources\themes.
:icongeoken:
So just to be sure.

You're running build 7000?
You patched all 3 resource files?
You executed the theme by clicking the .theme file and no the .msstyle?
:iconprsuction:
i did everything you said, still doesn't work :P
:icongeoken:
Weird. Maybe it only works on 64bit?
:iconren3vant:
I'd use this if it worked. Do you think you could fix it for 32bit?
